Ted Arriola

This may be a little unusual for an About Page but necessary.  The page is to acknowledge Edward (Ted) Arriola, his contribution to my career as a sign maker and contractor and to my life in general.

My Relationship with Ted

Ted was my mentor and contributed greatly to the success of my sign making knowledge and business.  He spent many hours patiently teaching and encouraging me to become more skilled at sign painting, wood carving, sign design, and gilding.  I did assist him with some of his own projects as a helper and apprentice.

I regret losing track of him in his later life and am very sorry that I cannot find a photo of him to post here.  He was an exceptional talent at graphic arts and sign fabrication.

Ted's Background

He grew up in Alameda, California, and was a son of another very good sign painter.  A Navy veteran, professional designer of housing, shopping centers, military aircraft and equipment, medical illustration, and many more exceptionally accomplished designs and illustrations.

In later life he worked for my father and then for me as an employee and guide.  Without his influence, I would have never been able to complete some of the projects that I was able to take on.  Thank you and God bless you, Ted.
